Ok my condo is here (Google Maps): it is between the new Suwannaphum Airport and downtown, so ideal location for the surfers who arrive at BKK Airport. If you arrive at Don Muang Airport, it will take a bit longer to get to my place :) .

This building was build late 1980's, but is well kept: the security is very good, everywhere are camera's, the (free) fitness room is well managed, and the (free) swimming pool is clean. If you go swim  early afternoon, then the sun rays have warmed the water, and the kids are not back from school yet :) Do not wear your swimming suit in the elevator or hall ways, only at the swimming pool level (there are showers and toilets).

From the moment I confirm your stay, I will email you the address in Thai, for the taxi driver, together with my phone number (I do not take calls while I am doing Tai Chi, but I will call you back, as long as you have a Thai number).
Every surfer gets a free (BTS) map of Bangkok.
I just want you to have a good time here, but you only can have a good time, when I have a good time too :).
So please be in an attitude of gratitude while you live under my roof .
Since 3 month, I started discovering the buses of the BMTA , they are much cheaper than the modern Skytrain (BTS)  or the Subway (MRT), but not as easy to use :) as they only mention the destinations in Thai language. So if you have to visit specific places in Bangkok, please let me know, I surely know the cheapest way to get there.
For transport from my place to anywhere, you need to know the concept of songteowIf you have a lot of luggage or are too lazy to do  all the songteow thing, at the BTS station (exit nr 2), in front of Tesco Lotus, you can take a taxi (about 50 thb) (most taxidrivers know Baan Onnut Condominium, if not, ask for Onnut soi 30 (onnut soi saamsip, in Thai) , you will be able to see my building (18 stories high, see picture above) as from soi 20,on your right hand side, so point to my building , so the driver understand.
If you have other question about transportation, please do not hesitate to mail me :)

Thanks to Elisa from Spain, my second couchsurfer, I got the Lonely Planet for Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore, Thailand, China, Laos, The Philippines and Vietnam in PDF (I asume it is the 2009 version).
